Exactly five years ago, Giulia, our illustrator, finally told me, “Yes, I’m going to do it.”
At the time, PlayPauseBe was just an idea—a seed of something bigger—and I was searching tirelessly for the perfect illustrator to bring our first yoga deck to life.
I had a long list of candidates, but none felt like the right fit. Then one day, I stumbled across an illustration on Instagram: a Pizza Margherita with a female figure in a yoga pose balanced over it. Instantly, something clicked. “It has to be her,” I thought. And I was right.
Fast forward five years, and here I am, reflecting on the incredible journey that’s brought us here—and, more importantly, where we’re headed next.
The same instinct that led me to Giulia has been quietly nudging me again. It’s been telling me, for a while now, that it’s time to evolve. That we need to take a bold step forward.
As I write this, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the community we’ve built together. Your support, enthusiasm, and feedback have been the heart of everything we do. But I’m also filled with excitement about the future—the next chapter for PlayPauseBe.
The world moves fast, and staying true to our mission—to help people embrace mindfulness, movement, and joy in their daily lives—means having the courage to grow and adapt. It means making decisions that might feel daunting but are essential for what’s ahead.
This is just the beginning.
What lies ahead isn’t just an evolution—it’s a bold leap forward in how we approach yoga, mindfulness, and movement. We’re imagining a world where your practice isn’t just something you do but something that grows with you, inspires you, and empowers you every day.
It’s ambitious, yes. But looking at everything we’ve built together over the last five years, I know we’re ready.
